Here are some little known gems from the “Land of Song”

Sit in on an Eisteddfod
We have our own annual week-long celebration of the originality of Welsh culture. Our music, poetry, dance, literature and crafts. It’s called the National Eisteddfod of Wales. The name comes from the Welsh ‘eistedd’, ‘to sit’ (but do feel free to dance, join in or tour the many different attractions rather than just ‘sitting there’). And we don’t just champion home-grown originality and creativity, we encourage it wherever it originates, at events such as the International Eisteddford at Llangollen.
